Dr. Wayne D. Weissman completed his undergraduate studies in a three year Pre-med program at the University of Minnesota from 1967 to 1970.  After graduating from the University Of Iowa Medical School in 1974, he and his wife moved to Portland Oregon where he participated in a surgery internship at the University of Oregon. They returned to Iowa City in 1975 where he began his five years of training in the urology program at the University of Iowa.  His formal training was completed at the University of Texas in Houston studying Male Infertility and Andrology.  In 1980 Dr. Weissman and his family moved to Seattle where he has been in private practice for 26 years.

Dr. Weissman enjoys evaluating and diagnosing patients with a broad range of urologic disorders.  He has had over 25 years of experience successfully treating thousands of patients with a wide variety of problems related to kidney stone disease, prostate and bladder cancers, male infertility and sterility, urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence and bladder repair in women as well as radioactive seed and needle implants for non-surgical treatment of prostate cancer.  He has a special interest in micro-surgery and infertility.  Dr. Weissman has performed over 6,500 vasectomies and many microsurgical vasectomy reversals as well.  He has been a trainer for the AVSC and traveled abroad to teach the No-Scalpel vasectomy technique.

He has been selected by the physicians of King County as one of region's 'Top Doctors' in the July, 2006, issue of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine
